Mariska Hargitay Shows Condolences to Ned Eisenberg

Mariska Hargitay gave tribute to Ned Eisenberg. Losing a close friend and coping with the sadness is not an easy process. The shooting of a film or TV series is a way time-consuming process. In the meantime, the actors get to spend time with each other. By the time they leave the set – they already got some friends for life.

And when one of the friends is now long gone, that sure hurts. As Mariska Hargita is currently in this state. She is petrified by the sudden loss of her costar slash friend, Ned Eisenberg. Ned and Mariska both worked in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”.

Mariska Hargitay paid her condolences to her late friend on 23rd March this Wednesday. The 57 years old actress paid her tribute through her social media handle, on Instagram. Ned Eisenberg passed away this Sunday on the 27th of February.

In the message, she stated that her heart is full of sadness. At the loss of her dear, Ned Eisenberg. She praised his work wrote – “What a light and what a love”. Mariska Hargitay indicated him as a “first-rate actor” and added it is not just the actor side, it pales in front of his natural human side.

She continued that she will always remember the actor as her great friend. She also highlighted some of his features. As she said she’ll remember Ned’s “bright, mischievous smile”. And last but not least – his big wide-open heart. She will miss him dearly.

Ned Eisenberg passed away in New York City on Sunday 27th February. Ned was battling with two types of cancer – cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma. The actor’s agents at Nicolosi & Co. reported to PEOPLE. TMZ first reported this heartbreaking news.

Eisenberg’s good friend and former manager, Craig Dorfman stated to PEOPLE that – Ned was one of the kindest and most talented actors. Whom he ever worked with. And added – “He will be missed.”
