This isn’t a ruse: Joey King and Steven Piet are in love!

The Kissing Booth actor shared many vacation photographs from her romantic journey to Costa Rica with her director boyfriend, Steven Piet, on Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 23. The 22-year-old actress wore a floral bikini in several of the photos and posed in front of a massive waterfall, while Steven stood by the river in another.

Joey also posted a photo of her man wrapped around her waist after what appeared to be a plunge in the pond, causing her former The Act co-star Anna Sophia Robb to call them the “HOTTEST COUPLE OF THE YEAR” in the comments section.

Similarly, many of Joey’s fans concurred. “You’re both quite attractive. “ARE YOU KIDDING ME JOEY LYNN KING?!!! “ARE YOU KIDDING ME JOEY LYNN KING?” tweeted actress Amy Forsyth, while Brianne Tju of I Know What You Did Last Summer added, Is this some kind of joke?”

Joey and Steven, who co-executive produced The Act, initially made their relationship public in September 2019, when they went out on a date night to see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets at Cinespia in Los Angeles. They haven’t been bashful about showing their love for one another since then.

“I have such a massive crush on you it’s stupid,” she captioned photographs of the duo across the years on her Instagram in May, a romantic homage on Steven’s birthday. Referring to it as a watershed moment “I couldn’t be happier that you’re in my life and that I’m in yours,” she wrote in a note to Steven. I’m in love with you.”

Steven reciprocated two months later with a similarly passionate birthday letter for the actress. “It is a consensus decision. You are my favorite person, according to ten out of ten doctors “he penned “Happy birthday, you lovely and kind spirit. I adore you to death.”
