The fans always get too excited when their favorite idol gets someone they love and one who loves them. Though some of the fans pretend to be hurt that is a mere gesture only.

That’s exactly what happened with the fans of former footballer, Alex Scott. Well, not exactly. She just played her fans like her big game.

Alexandra Virginia Scott MBE posted a video of her, on her social media slash Instagram handle. In the video, she told her fans that she is very excited. Because she has a “buzzing” date night ahead of her. To be precise, she said – “Guys! I’ve got a date to tell you all about. I am so excited”. And it was enough for her fans to get their hopes high a mountain.

But then she dropped it with another statement saying – “I am going on a date this evening with my sofa. Yes! And I am absolutely buzzing”. With that, she dropped the bomb nonchalantly.

After this statement, she continued with a happy sigh that – “I can’t wait to just sit on my sofa, in my own company, and do absolutely nothing and not feel guilty about that.”
That was her ultimate evening plan all along.

The English sports presenter’s plans didn’t stop with that. She instantly improvised her plans by throwing “a glass of cheeky red wine” with it. She concluded her statement with – “Mmmmm… I’m going to do that now. Bye!”

The former player sure fooled her fans with that. However, she also posted pictures of her with a cheeky savage look. She looked casual and perfectly well for her date. As the pundit wore a red colors hoodie and paired it with the same colored sweatpants. She captioned the post with “Loungin” with some smirk-faced and music emojis.

Well, it’s a perfect date night for the introverts. Who can deny a lazy Wednesday, watching TV and games with a fine glass of red wine? – Yeah absolutely no one. It sure seems a very tempting date.

The stars playing around with their fans. And the fans getting played is not a new scenario. Yet that didn’t make it any less funny to the viewers and disappointing yet funny to the fans.
