Though Netflix’s ‘Another Life’ has been canceled in February 2022 after the second season which causes disappointment among the fans, the sci-fi drama series whatsoever has spurred the urge for sci-fi movies and series involving aliens and space in us.
The plot of ‘Another Life’ begins with an unidentified object flying and landing on Earth. The object looks like a large Möbius strip and there is a crystalline tower that grows over it. While United States Interstellar Command employee Erik Wallace tries to build communication with the alien object, his wife Niko Breckinridge who is a veteran captain decides to determine the artifact’s origin.
In order to do that she takes a spaceship called ‘Salvare’ with its young crew. The spaceship is unique in having a feature of hibernation pods which renders the passengers to travel asleep so that they can be awakened only when necessary. The ship is also able to move faster than light.
The main cast members of ‘Another Life’ are Katee Sackhoff as Niko and Justin Chatwin as Erik. The first season of the series premiered on Netflix on July 25, 2019, with the second season airing on October 14, 2021.
