Zoe Saldaña kicked off her acting career by acting in two episodes of the long-running police procedural drama ‘Law & Order‘ in 1999. One year after in 2000, she made her debut in the film ‘Center Stage’ playing a ballet dancer.

From the producers of Harry Potter, this fantasy drama film is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Kelly and Ken Niimura. The film centers on Barbara Thorson (Madison Wolfe) who has created a fantasy world of her own through her extreme love for Dungeons & Dragons and the myths of giants.
She thinks that giants do exist in the world and create weapons to confront them. Zoe Saldaña plays the role of Mrs. Mollé who is the psychologist of Barbara’s school.
Though at first Barbara’s reaction towards her had been hostile, Mrs. Mollé did not stop caring for Barbara’s state of mind and her well-being which eventually brings forty a good relationship between the two.
The Words (2012)-
ColliderWritten and directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, this mystery romantic film opens as Clayton Hammond attends his new book ‘The Words’ public reading. The book centers upon Rory Jansen who is an aspiring writer living in New York with his girlfriend Dora who is played by Zoe Saldaña.
After the two marries, on their honeymoon Dora buys her husband an antic briefcase from the antic store to which previously Rory expressed admiration. After they return to America, Rory’s book is rejected once again and which is when he discovers a masterfully written manuscript in the briefcase that Dora gave him.
Dennis Quaid and Bradley Cooper act as Clayton Hammond and Rory Jansen alongside Zoe Saldaña. The movie was released on January 27, 2012, at the Sundance Film Festival and in the United States on September 7, 2012.
Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)-

The Losers (2010)-
POPSUGARThe plot revolves around a team of elite black-ops of United States Special Forces. Clay is one of the primary members of the team. After they become forced to stay in Bolivia where their mission was destined, they are met by Aisha who is a mysterious woman. This role is played by Zoe Saldaña.
For this particular role, Zoe had to take special training in weaponry. She also had to gain some pounds in order to carry heavy weapons eight hours a day. The movie was released on April 23, 2010.
