Christopher Michael Pratt of Chris Pratt is today familiar to all of us as the Star-Lord aka Peter Quill, the leader of the space mercenary group and Owen Grady, the Velociraptor expert. But the American actor fist rose to prominence by starring in the hit sitcom of NBC ‘Parks And Recreation’ from 2009 to 2015.

He was critically acclaimed for his role as Andy Dwyer and received a nomination for the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Jurassic World (2015)-

As the fourth installment of our beloved Jurassic Park franchise ‘Jurassic World’ brought many more new characters and an extension of the familiar world of dinosaurs with a lot of new charms. The main change was the primary protagonist who is Owen Grady, the character that Chris Pratt portrayed.

Colin Trevorrow directed this first film of the Jurassic World trilogy. The film takes us back to Isla Nublar where Owen Grady, an ethologist and Navy veteran is training four Velociraptors while researching their intelligence.

When Vic Hoskins, the head of the InGen security expresses the idea of weaponizing the animals, Owen and his assistant Barry place themselves in the stark opposite.

With Chris Pratt, other cast members of ‘Jurassic World’ includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson etc. The movie was a big box office success and Pratt was nominated for a number of Teens’, People’s, and Critics’ Choice Awards along with winning a MTV Movie Award for Best Action Performance.

The Tomorrow War (2021)-

‘The Tomorrow War’ is a military sci-fi action film is set in December of 2022 when soldier from 2051 appear in the World Cup which was being internationally televised to alarm people about an alien attack un 2048 wiping out most of the human race. The protagonist of the film is Dan Forester who is a former Green Beret and a biology teacher. When the plot opens we find him greatly disappointed for not securing a job at the Army Research Laboratory.

The movie is one of the most expensive films ever made. It is directed by Chris McKay and stars Chris Pratt as Daniel Forester.

Passengers (2016)-

Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt this sci-fi romance film is directed by Morten Tyldum. It is inspired from the EC Comics story ’50 Girls 50′ of 1950. The plot is about a huge interstellar spacecraft that is taking thousands of passengers to a colony that is sixty light years away from earth. Two passengers Aurora Lane and Jim Preston wakes up from their induced hibernation 90 years earlier.

Jennifer Lawrence plays the role of Aurora Lane who is a journalist and writer with Chris Pratt as Jim Preston who us a mechanical engineer. The film released on December 21, 2016 in United States.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)-

This superhero film is based on the Marvel comics superhero team of the same name. This movie centers Peter Quill who was abducted by a group of alien thieves in 1988. Later 2014 Quill steals a mysterious orb which eventually leads him to be known as ‘Star-lord’ and form the group ‘Gurdian of the galaxy’ with Gamora, Dead the Destroyer, Rocket, and Groot which will in coming time aid the Avengers in their mission against Thanos.

Along with Chris Pratt, the ensemble cast of the film includes Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper. It released on August 1, 2014 in United States.

Delivery Man (2013)-

This comedy drama film is directed by Ken Scott and follows David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) who is a delivery man of his family’s butcher shop. A group of thugs pursue him as he owes $80000 to them. When he tries to keep the records sealed, Brett, David’s friend and lawyer who is portrayed by Chris Pratt represents him.
