Kate’s husband is 54, Derek, he was admitted to the hospital in the month of March 2020 when he came into contact with the coronavirus. He was taken care of very personally and intensely for several months and he was discharged one year later and has now been taken care of at home.

Kate and Derek have 2 children Darcey and Billy, 15 and 12. There was a documentary that has won the award named finding Derek that was released in the month of March last year.
