What’s Releasing On Netflix From 14th – 21st: Netflix is one of the forerunner streaming platforms of today where subscribers’ choice is given the highest value. Netflix offers a wide range of genres and a plethora of variety in shows and movies.

Comedy, romance, horror, psychological thriller- all these types are present bountiful on the media. Like every other year from the beginning of 2022, most anticipated shows and movies were being streamed there.

February has been a really busy one for Netflix. Shows like ‘Inventing Ana’, ‘Forecasting Love and Weather’ and movies like ‘Tall Girl 2’ have already been released on the streaming media and many more are on the queue.

Here we present the list of new shows and movies that are releasing from 14th to 21st February of 2022.

TV Series:-

14th February:

Devotion, a Story of Love and Desire (Season 1)-

Valentine’s day is not valentine’s day without a series of romances. As is suggested in the title this series basically tells us the story of love.

Directed by Stefano Cipani and Andrea Molaioli, this Italian series depicts the story of Carlo (Michele Riondino) and Margherita (Lucrezia Guidone). Their strong chemistry and romantic bond tremble when something unfortunate happens and they begin to doubt themselves.

Fishbowl Wives (Season 1)-
Netflix

Directed by Michiko Namiki, the series revolves around six women who are trapped in unhappy and unsatisfactory marriages. Eventually, they become involved in infidelity. Rich Ting, Ren Hanami, Anzu Lawson, Sanyee Yuan, Kyoko Hasegawa, etc. are the cast members.

15th February:

Ridley Jones (Season 3)-

The Netflix animation series ‘Ridley Jones’ will be back with its new third season. The cartoon shows Ridley, a six years old girl living in a treehouse and a museum where all the exhibited things come to life at night.

Ridley along with her friends tries to protect the museum’s secret. The first episode of the first season of ‘Ridley Jones’ premiered on July 13, 2021.

16th February:

Secrets of Summer/Cielo Grande (Season 1)-

The Spanish series is set in a remote Argentine resort. As the resort revives the wakeboarding competition, Steffi, a Mexican athlete arrives there. Though she is also determined to unearth some family secrets. The cast includes Pilar Pascual, Giulia Guerrini, Guido Messina, Luan Brum etc.

Swap Shop (Season 2)-

This exciting and even useful show is back with its second season. The ‘Swap Shop’ builds a circle of reusing as it shares the scoop on deals, collectors of cars, comics, creepy statues, etc.

17th February:

Young Wallander (Season 2)-

Based on fictional Inspector Kurt Wallander created by Henning Mankell ‘Young Wallander‘ premiered on September 3, 2020. The series depicts the detective’s earlier cases along with elucidating his personal and professional life. The second season that is coming on 17th February is subtitled “The Killer’s Shadow”.

18th February:

Space Force (Season 2)-
Deadline

‘The Office’ fames Steve Carell will reprise his role as General Mark Naird in the United States Space Force. This workplace comedy centers around a group of people working there whose objective is to get boots on the moon within 2024.

The Cuphead Show (Season 1)-

This Netflix animation is based on Cuphead by Studio MDHR. The show tells the story of the impulsive Cuphead and his brother Mugman as they embark upon misadventures on the Inkwell Isles.

Movie:-

15th February:

Al Love You-

It depicts a modern love story of an Al building that has human feelings. But after a software glitch, the building falls in love with a real girl, and to win her affection it escapes into the body of a real man. David Asavanond directs the film.

16th February:

jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy-

Directed by Coodie & Chike, this documentary film shows us the life of renowned record producer, fashion designer, and businessman Kanye West. The documentary is in three parts making it a trilogy. Only the first part will release on February 16, 2022.

17th February:

Erax-
Netflix

Directed by Hebru Brantley, this spooky short film opens as monstrous creatures begin to come out of a magical storybook which renders mayhem and troubles for Auntie Opal and her niece Nina.

Forgive Us Our Trespasses-

This dark and gloomy story is set in Nazi Germany when Hitler enacted a program to kill anybody with a disability. The movie focuses on a young boy who has a limb difference. As he begins to be on run, he realizes his self-worth amidst all the death omen.

Heart Shot-
Netflix

Again a short film that features the love story of Nikki and Sam. These two teenagers begin planning their future together. But something from Nikki’s threatening past returns and threatens their relationship.

Wu Assassins: Fistful of Vengeance-

Serving as a follow-up of the TV Series ‘Wu Assassins’, the supernatural thriller action film features the reunion of the Wu Assassins in Bangkok. While they prepare to take revenge for one of their owner’s death, their new foe reveals to be an out worldly powerful ancient threat.

18th February:

Downfall: The Case Against Boeing-

Directed by Rory Kennedy, this documentary film talks about investigators finding out how Boeing’s priority of profit over safety contributed to the two airplane crashes killing 346 people.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre-

This highly anticipated film is about the return of notorious murderer Leatherface and is set in several decades after the events of the original film. This sequel focuses on Melody and her sister Lila and their friends who join with a survivor of Leatherface’s previous kills, determined to take revenge.

20th February:

Don’t Kill Me-

‘Don’t Kill Me’ revolves around the rebirth of Mirta. In her previous birth, Mirta and her boyfriend Robin died due to a drug overdose. But when in the next life only Mirta is reborn, will things be the same for her?
