The theme of grief and trauma is not new in anime movies. The 1988 movie ‘Grave of the Fireflies’ or ‘Okko’s Inn’ of 2018 is a perfect example of how well anime can deal with the complicated and heartfelt topic of grief, pain, trauma.

In ‘Child of Kamirai Month’, protagonist Kanna’s journey through the pitfalls of life and her struggle with the emotional hardships are more significant and engaging than the fantasy elements in it. Though it is true that the fantasy and supernatural elements are only there to reinvent the universal trouble of real human lives.

The original title of ‘Child of Kamirai Month’ is ‘Kamiarizuki no kodomo’ which is obviously a Japanese title. Here is the complete details about the plot, voice cast, and everything else that we know about the anime movie.
