Bob Odenkirk Returns Safely After Severe Heart Attack

Bob Odenkirk, Is known for his roles in the TV Series “Better Call Saul” and Breaking Bad. The actor remembers the day when he had a heart attack on the set of Better Call Saul. And how he survived the severe heart attack. Odenkirk recently reveals in an interview how he survived a deadly heart attack, on the set of Better Call Saul. Back in 2021 July, the 59 years old, Breaking Bad actor was taken to the emergency room by the crew members.

As Odenkirk explained- the day started as a normal shooting day like others. They had shot through the day. At that time they were wrapping up a scene for the final season of the show. When he suddenly collapsed. Alternatively that day he hung out with his fellow co-stars Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian, somewhere outside of the set. Which later became his life-saving option.

“I went to play the Cubs game and ride my workout bike, and I just went down.” In an addition, he said, “Rhea said I started turning bluish-gray right away.” The actor also disclosed the heart attack caused because of “plaque buildup” in his heart.

Among that two cardiologists, one of them suggested starting the medication while another cardiologist recommended not to. The actor considers the second option.

Since Bob was hanging out with Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian they were the ones to call for help. Before going to the hospital the onset medical emergency team helped him. As the onset health safety supervisor, Rosa Estrada, and also the assistant director, Angie Meyer both started giving him CPR and shocked him with an automated defibrillator.

The actor also observed that he doesn’t recognize anything of that day. So asked for the costars and the crew members to gather up the information about him. “You didn’t have a near-death experience — you’re told you had one.”

Afterward on his recovery period, back in August. He would often thank his friend and family and fans for their support. It was an act to assure them that he was doing fine.

“I’m doing great” Odenkirk tweeted.

After having his recovery time, on 8th September 2021, he returned on the set to finish the shoot, the final season of Better Call Saul. And stated “So happy to be here,” also added “and living this specific life surrounded by such good people.”
