Dead to Me Season 3 Updates: American dark comedy TV Series Dead to Me’ was renewed for a third season in July 2020 which will probably be released sometime in 2022. The third season is going to be the final one. But before the time comes when ‘Dead to Me’ is almost near to end, let us see what the cast of the series is in real life.
The plot focuses on the friendship of two main characters Jen and Judy who attend grief support groups. Jen is mourning for her husband who has been killed by a hit-and-run driver and Judy, apparently, is in pain for the death of her fiancé.
Though in reality, Judy is the driver to hit Jen’s husband. But when Jen and Judy are confronted with the truth, their friendship has already been grown into a beautiful bonding.

Christina Applegate (Jen)-
This actress made her debut in the popular soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives. She was a little kid of 3 years then. Her role was in her mother’s arm who is the singer and actress Nancy Priddy.
Now fifty years old, Christina is best known for her role in ‘Married… With Children’ and ‘Anchorman’. She also played the role of Amy Greene, sister of Rachel in ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S‘. She was married to Johnathon Schaech from 2001 to 2007 and her current husband is Martyn LeNoble.
Linda Cardellini (Judy)-
Dead to Me 2019The 46 years old actress had her big breakthrough on ‘Freaks and Geeks’ and she has played in projects like ‘Mad Men’, ‘Bloodline’, two Avengers movies since then.
Linda’s urge to push herself to a new challenge spurred her to take the role of Judy in ‘Dead to Me. She is engaged to Steven Rodriguez whom she met at the age of ten as the new kid of school. They became engaged in 2010 and had a daughter in 2013- Lilah-Rose.
James Marsden (Steve and Ben)-
MEAWWJames Marsden plays the roles of both Judy’s ex-fiance Steve and in season two Steve’s semi-identical twin brother Ben. James is a very experienced actor and has been in a great many varieties of projects including the miniseries ‘Mrs. America’ and the film ‘Sonic the Hedgehog‘. The 48 years old actor is now dating Edie, a British musician whose real name is Emma Deigman.
He previously dated Rose Costa for a brief time and had a son with the Brazilian model. Before that, he was married to actress Lisa Linde before it ended in divorce after almost ten years. Their children are looked after by both of them.
Brandon Scott (Nick)-
Dead to MeJudy meets Nick, an off-duty police detective in the grieve support group. He is played by Brandon Scott, a 39 years old actor. Previously he played the role of Coach Kerba in the Netflix original and hit TV Show ’13 Reasons Why.
He also appeared in the fifth and sixth seasons of ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ and ‘This Is Us‘. Brandon’s wife Jenn Liu is an actress too. She started the series ‘The Mentalist’. Jenn also co-authored ‘SK & J’, an autobiographical comedy web series.
Natalie Morales (Michelle)-
Oprah DailyMichelle is the love interest, Judy. Portraying the character of Michelle, Natalie Morales is a 36 years old actress and director. She joins the cast of ‘Dead to Me’ in the second season. Natalie’s worklist includes ‘Parks and Recreation, ‘The Grinder’, ‘Abby’s’, ‘Santa Clarita Diet.
Natalie revealed her sexual preference three years ago when on Twitter she described her journey of embracing her identity gradually. As of partners, Natalie’s experience is in her language “all sorts of beautiful, amazing, inspiring human beings.”
