Reese Witherspoon Spotted Sharing a Drink With Daughter Ava Phillippe in A Selfie

Cheers! Reese Witherspoon and daughter Ava Phillippe raised glasses together to celebrate the end of dry January.  The 45 years old Reese Witherspoon and daughter Ava Philippe, 22, proved there’s no other mother-daughter duo who raises a glass of rosé together. The mother-daughter duo raised glasses of champagne together at the celebration for the end of Dry January.

The blonde actress was seen wearing a green wrap floral dress and her daughter in a black long-sleeved shirt over a suede mini skirt and sheer black tights. It would be tough to tell the two apart if Ava’s hair didn’t have a rose gold color to it.

“Well, I guess dry January is done,” the Morning Show actress’s post was captioned and her mini-me was tagged in the post. While they kept things low-key for a night of drinking, the two had attended a slew of posh events together. The mother-daughter combo was photographed looking as stunning as ever at the premiere of Sing 2. Her mother wore a pink gingham sequin dress, while Ava wore a black minidress with white lace.

The two look like one another’s reflection that they often get mistaken for one another, and the legally blonde actress has no issues with that. In an interview with Gayle King for InStyle, Reese said, “I love being mistaken for her because it makes me feel so young.” “I’m so proud of her,” she added of Ava. “She really rolls with it. I’m sure it’s not easy looking exactly like your mother.”

Despite the repeated comparisons to her mother, Ava appears to be doing OK. The 22-year-old recently revealed her sexuality to her admirers. One admirer asked her if she preferred boys or girls during an Instagram Q&A, and she replied that she is drawn to “people” in general, regardless of gender.

After speaking up about her sexuality, the actress’s daughter received some backlash. Shortly after the Q&A, she had to provide a disclaimer on one of her Instagram Stories, stating that she “can & will block profiles leaving bigoted/hateful statements under my pictures.” Ava, like her mother, understands the importance of staying strong and standing her ground.
