After the “Today” host spent minutes trying to delve into Jennifer Lopez has connection with Ben Affleck, the singer humorously mocked Hoda Kotb for dodging the topic of her broken engagement.

During their “Today” appearance on Thursday, Kotb, who revealed her split from Joel Schiffman earlier this week, held up a magazine cover of Lopez while skilfully concealing up news about her own personal difficulties in the corner.

After attempting to delve into Jennifer Lopez’s relationship, Hoda Kotb was chastised by Lopez for concealing a tale about her personal life.

“On the cover of People [magazine], you look stunning.” “Let me just block out this corner,” Kotb replied, her hand covering a portion of the cover.

“How come you’re attempting to block out the corner?” You don’t want to discuss your personal matters? Is that the case, Hoda As she received the magazine from the host, Lopez, 52, busted out laughing?

The NBC anchors had been digging for details on Lopez’s high-profile love life with Affleck for minutes when Guthrie eventually stated, “I feel like we’re talking around it,” and inquired how the “Marry Me” star reconnected with her ex-fiancé.

Lopez, who renewed her romance with Affleck in April 2021, remarked, “We can talk about it backstage if you really want to know.” “I believe what we learned the previous time is that love is so holy and special when you’re lucky enough to discover it, and you have to hold a little part of it secretly, and that’s what we’ve learned.” But, if that’s what you’re wondering, we’re quite delighted.”

While Lopez and Affleck are still happily together after her abrupt breakup from Alex Rodriguez, Kotb disclosed her eight-year relationship with Schiffman on Monday.

“Right now, I’m feeling pretty brave,” she admitted. “Over the holidays, Joel and I had a lot of prayerful and profound chats.”

“We realized that we are better as friends and parents than as an engaged couple, so we decided to begin this new year… on our new road as loving parents to our lovely, delightful children and as friends.”

Haley, 4, and Hope, 2, are Schiffman and Kotb’s two daughters.
