BOE’s Fastest Gaming Monitor and World’s Top 7 Monitors to Buy!

Published by

BOE’s Fastest Gaming Monitor: With gaming culture taking a stronghold over other entertainers, BOE- Beijing oriental Electronics has taken a leap by announcing its upcoming launch and has claimed it to be the fastest in the world. All the game preachers have eyes on the scheduled release.

The fastest game Monitor in the sports world has a refresh rate of 500Hz

The Beijing Oriental Electronics, BOE has announced the world’s first 500Hz match monitoring. The display has a 27-inch panel, Full HD with 8-bit depth color, and a 1ms response time.

The prototype panel has a powerful oxide backplane to enable high frames, which easily outputs the 360 Hz refresh rate of the fastest esports monitors on the market today. So yes, it’s early.

The news comes from the Chinese news site SINA (via Tom’s Hardware). BOE (Beijing Oriental Electronics) may not be a household name in the Western market, but it is actually one of the world’s largest manufacturers of LCD, OLED, and flexible display panels.

BOE’s Fastest Gaming Monitor Expected Specs

Given the very high level of premium 360 Hz monitors, the 500Hz screen is probably the most expensive and may be limited to 1080p resolution, especially in the beginning. Monitors like this will cost the equivalent of a 1440p screen or decent 4K, which means it will be one of the most competitive players.

While advances in panel technology are welcome, the question remains whether the 500Hz panel offers real benefits to gamers, even those who play fast-paced first-person shooting titles. Reducing the input lag is always beneficial, but I expect a reduction in return at such high renewal rates.

The BOE has not revealed plans to release the 500 Hz monitor, so do not abandon its 360Hz panel yet. But the company shared a video that it said would show a “500Hz +” 27-inch monitor. The 1920×1080 monitor is not surprising, as low refresh rates can be difficult to deliver with additional pixels, e.g., QHD or 4K resolution. With video intelligence, the 500 Hz monitor also uses the 8-lane Embedded DisplayPort (EDP) standard with 8-bit color.

Also, it is not clear if we will ever see 1080p in the 500 Hz monitor available for purchase. We will also need a powerful graphics card (and availability) to customize it. It will also be interesting to see how big the 500Hz speed difference will be compared to today’s fast-paced monitors, which are already impressive. When you go from 60Hz to 144Hz, it’s hard to go back, and moving to 360Hz brings faster visibility and even better enhancements to games.

If the BOE had to bring its 500Hz panel to market, this would not be the first time we have seen Oxide TFT technology being used in surveillance development. For example, in 2011, Samsung used the TFT-LCD oxide to create a 4K monitor prototype operating at 240 Hz, something the company is aware of this year with the Odyssey Neo G8 32-inch gaming monitor.

At the moment, 500Hz has not yet reached, which gives our eyes time to get used to the possibility.
