Series Like All of Us Are Dead You Must Watch: If you are a fan of K-drama like most people nowadays, ‘All of Us Are Dead‘ must be your new favorite then. This South Korean zombie apocalypse series of 2022 has already become a big global hit.

The show was released on January 28, 2022, on Netflix and as expected delivered the exciting and engaging zombie thriller that we usually expect from Korean entertainment production.

‘All of Us Are Dead’ opens with a zombie virus outbreak infecting a high school as the surviving students must fight their way out. Starring in this series is Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo, Cho Yi-hyun. But now as you have already binge-watched the whole season, your heart must be craving for some more thrillers that will pacify your running mind with more suspense. Irony right?

Post-apocalyptic zombie attack is a favorite theme for young adults. They just love imagining in fantasy that people are turning into zombies, walking dead people. Based on the Japanese manga series of Daisuke Sato and Shoji Sato, this is a twelve episodes anime series about a high school zombie apocalypse.

The plot revolves around a group of high school students along with the high school nurse and a young girl as they fight for escaping from the deadly pandemic turning humans into zombies. In a euphemistic way, the zombies are referred to as “them” in this series.

The anime was released on July 5, 2010, in Japan. The top cast includes Jun’ichi Suwabe, Nobuyuki Hiyama, Eri Kitamura, Hitomi Harada, etc.

Ash vs Evil Dead-

Developed by Sam Raimi, this American comedy horror TV Series was filmed in New Zealand. Set in the popular Evil Dead universe, the show brings back Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, the antihero protagonist. This series is set after nearly thirty years after the incident of the original Evil Dead trilogy serving as a sequel to it.

Ash now works as a simple stock boy without doing much significant in his life. But when the evil of the titular evil dead awakens once more, Ash must face it with his friends Pablo and Kelly.

The series was released on October 31, 2015, and ran till 2018 starring Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, Ray Santiago as Pablo, and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly.

The Walking Dead-

Based on Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard’s comic book series ‘The Walking Dead‘, this highly popular series is a post-apocalyptic horror drama. After a zombie apocalypse, the survivors must struggle to stay alive despite constant attacks from zombies known as “Walkers”. But when they come across other survivors who have formed groups and communities among them tension intensifies.

With an ensemble cast including Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, the first episode of the first season aired on October 31, 2010. After entertaining viewers for ten long seasons, the eleventh and final episode premiered on August 22, 2021, and will come to a conclusion in 2022.

Alongside the huge popularity that the show has gained, it has also been nominated for several awards like the Golden Globe Award under Best Television Series- Drama category and for New Series the Writers Guild of America award.

The series opens in Los Angeles, California as a dysfunctional family consisting of a high school counselor, an English teacher, a drug addict son at the onset of a zombie apocalypse as civilization collapses and they must struggle for safety.

The cast includes Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, etc. The first episode premiered on August 23, 2015.

Another K-drama which is written and created by Kim Eun-hee. This political horror thriller is Netflix’s first original South Korean series. The series opens in a setting of three years after the Imjin War during Korea’s Joseon Dynasty where Lee Chang, the Crown Prince with his subordinates comes face to face with an unusual plague that resurrects the dead.

The first season of the series was premiered on January 25, 2019, with the second one on March 13, 2020, on Netflix.

A special episode naming ‘Kingdom: Ashin of the North‘ was released on July 23, 2021, and explored the back story of Ashin(Jun Ji- hyun). Another special episode is set to release in 2023. In the role of Lee Chang, the crown prince we see Ju Ji-hoon.
