Most of the Fans are waiting for the Raising Dion Season 2, so their wait is over now. Yes, you read it right their wait is over now, as Netflix has revealed the release date of the Raising Dion Season 2. Raising Dion is a superhero family-drama TV Series created by Carol Barbee.
The show spins around a single mother named Nicole Reese, who is now struggling so hard to raise her son and move on from her husband’s death, and now trying to protect her 7-year-old son, Dion Warren when Dion and his mother both get to know about his superpowers.
After knowing about her son’s superpowers or unique abilities Nicole worries about Dion’s safety as any mother would do.
Raising Dion Season 1 was released on Netflix on October 4th, 2019, with 9 episodes and each episode has 40-60 minutes each. Netflix has already annouced that Raising Dion will be renewed for the second season, with the 8th Episode on the 2nd of January in 2020. As you are aware of COVID-19, the production of season 2 was affected by the Pandemic the cast and crew of the series waited for more than one year to start filming finally began in January 2021 with all the safety protocols.
The production of the Raising Dion Season 2 has finished on May 26th, 2021. and Now the Raising Dion Season 2 will be released on Netflix on 1st Feb 2022.

Most of the original cast members of the series will be returning in Raising Dion Season 2 including Alisha Wainwright in the role of Nicole Reese. Ja’Siah Young will reprise his role as Dion Warren. Sammi Haney will return in the role of Esperanza Jimenez.
Jazmyn Simon will reprise her role as Kat Neese. Michael B. Jordan will return to the role as Mark. It seems Jason Ritter will not reprise his role as you might know if you have watched the first season of the series. Pat’s works and whatever he did in the first season lead him to death.
What could be the plot of the Raising Dion Season 2?
Raising Dion ended with a huge plot twist most of the fans might not be able to adapt it, however, there might be some of the fans/ viewers who have already found out that Pat is the crooked man. After that, it was clear whatever happened to Dion’s Dad Mark (aka) Micheal B. Jordan Pat was the reason behind that. At the end of the series, it was clear that Pat killed Charlotte, while she was trying to help Dion and Nichole.
Nicole runs away with Dion from the city to save herself, but mostly Dion. However Pat gets a way to reach both of them. However, after finding them on the lake still Pat was not able to reach Dion. After that Pat finds Dion at the school and tries to manipulate him, however, Pat was stopped by Nicole and tells the truth to Dion.
After that we see Dion using his mind to save his mother and it’s too brave for a 7-year-old kid. After that with the help of Nicole and his friends, Dion destroys the Crooked Man.
And Later we Dion’s Father Mark in a form of smoke and she tells energy can’t be killed and then again he becomes smoke. At the end of the finale, we see that the energy of the Crooked Man energy is transferred to Brayden. If you don’t know who Brayden is?
Brayden is Walter Mills, who is also superpowered and he also got the power from the Iceland event? the Crooked Man absorbs Walter Mills. After we got to know Brayden also has superpowers. Season 2 of the series will start from where it ended in season 1. As is expected Nicole will try to save Dion and keep him on the safe side after what happened with Pat.
