Tom Holland and “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson may not host Oscar 2022

After Tom Holland’s great success in Spider-Man: No Way Home the fans were expecting him and Dwayne Johnson as the emcee or host of the Oscar 2022 main event as the Academy Awards and ABC were thinking about getting the good viewership as like in 1998 when “Titanic” had dominated the ceremony.

For the last 3-To 4 years, the award ceremony was being organized without any host as we had seen Jimmy Kimmel as the last host of Academy Awards (Oscar 2018). After which the show had not got any host and the viewership of the ceremony had also decreased so much. So now ABC and Academy Awards want to appoint two hosts, and as per the reports of Variety, the Academy had posted a tweet for the names of hosts on Twitter from the fans worldwide.

And the answers are very random and hence the committee is still very confused. There was a rumor about the pair of Tom Holland and Dwayne Johnson past week we don’t think it could be possible because of the following reasons:

Why Tom Holland and Zendaya could not be the best fit?

Although the pair is in great demand after “Spider-Man: No Way Home” but yet Tom Holland and Zendaya could not be able to host the ceremony because both are really very busy with their recent release. As Tom Holland’s Uncharted is about to release he has a tour to complete for the promotions.

In a recent interview with Variety, Tom Holland had said “Of course, I would host the fucking Oscars!” but after he said that he is quite busy in promoting and later on hosting with Zendaya he said, “By myself would be great, and with someone I love would be even better, I think a shared experience is always better than a solo experience.”

But I think Tom Holland has a tight schedule with Uncharted’s Promotion and Crowded Room’s Shooting. So his name is almost out of question for Oscars 2022.

“The Rock” Dwyane Johnson’s situations

Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest stars in the world and it would be a different experience watching him hosting the Academy Awards 2022. But as per the sources he is also really very busy with Balck Adam, and Sequels of Jungle Cruise and Red Notice. So it’s clear that he also might not host the Oscar 2022.

And Most probably the celebrities like Kevin Hart (who was expected to host 2018’s Oscar), Jimmy Kimmel (who had hosted the Oscar 2018), Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph would also not do the job in Oscars 2022.
