Yellowstone Season 5 Update: Season 4 ended on a bittersweet note. After John (Kevin Costner), Kayce (Luke Grimes), and Beth (Kelly Reilly) survived a fiery militia attack, it was only a matter of time before Riggins (Bruno Amato) was found to have ordered it.
Despite her plans to assassinate Riggins in prison, Beth found that simply seeing him behind bars was enough for her, forcing her to focus on Jamie (Wes Bentley). Despite the fact that she did not follow out her threat to kill him, she did corner him.
But what does this mean for the Duttons? Fans of Yellowstone are eager to move on to the next chapter and have already asked if the show will be renewed for a fifth season. We’ve got the inside scoop on a potential new episode of the Paramount Network’s blockbuster show.
When will Yellowstone Season 5 premiere?
Yellowstone’s fifth season has not been renewed, and no start date has been established.
The sitcom has been renewed for multiple seasons on Paramount Network after its premiere in June 2018. Only a month after its premiere in July 2018, Yellowstone season 1 got renewed for a second season. In June of the following year, Yellowstone was renewed for a third season, just hours before the second season began. The sitcom was renewed for a fourth season in February 2020, months before new episodes were shown.
All of this points to the fifth season being announced soon. Despite the lack of official confirmation from television executives, Rip actor Cole Hauser has indicated emphatically that Yellowstone season 5 would happen. He discussed what was going on behind the scenes at a virtual gathering in March 2021.
“Right now, [showrunner and writer Taylor Sheridan] is working on it,” Cole said. “Season 5 is going to be absolutely spectacular. I can’t say too much about how Season 4 concluded since I don’t want to give anything away, but I believe the fans will be pleased.”
Will Kevin Costner and the rest of the cast be back for the fifth season of Yellowstone?
Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Gil Birmingham, and Forrie J. Smith, among others, are almost certain to return, based on how Yellowstone’s most recent episode concluded. After all, there is a flood of unsolved questions that require immediate attention. Will the disgraced attorney general be reinstated, or will he be used for bidding? Will Rip discover the truth regarding Beth’s inability to conceive? Will Kayce learn more about his vision’s meaning?
