Charlize Theron and now one of her children looked beyond incredibly cute tucking on the couch together in the cutest mother/daughter moment of the week. On January 4, Charlize posted a photo of herself lounging in the cubby of her couch, with one of her daughters under her arm.

A colorful blanket is adorned over their legs, and a dog is cuddled into the artist’s other side. Both ladies were snoozing during the serene moment. Charlize captioned the photo, “New year, same energy.” “Don’t be a b****, 2022!” She also shared a second photo of four dogs lounging in front of the fireplace with the same sluggish energy.

Charlize did not say which of her daughters was in the photo with her, but she is the proud mother of 10-year-old Jackson and seven-year-old August.

Charlize accepted Jackson in 2012, and August adopted him in 2015. While Charlize is intensely private about her living with her daughters, she did publicly address Jackson’s transition to a transgender girl in 2019.

Jackson was only three years old once Charlize proclaimed, “I am not a boy!”

My child’s life is truly hers, and if she so desires, she will tell it one day, according to Charlize. As her mother, I thought it was important to let the world know that I would love it if they used the proper pronouns for her.

I think it became more difficult for us as she got older because people were still publishing about her in the improper pronouns, and I was still talking about her in the press in the wrong pronoun.

It was extremely upsetting to her. During her career, Charlize has been in a lot of top relationships, but she has never been wedded. Her most recent public relationship was with Sean Penn, whom she started dating from December 2013 to June 2015.
