In an interview with a deadline, Ricky had said the reason why he is not making After Life Season 4. He said

“I know for a fact I could, But the reason I said it is definitely the end is so I’d be bullied and made fun of for going back on it. It’s a no-brainer I should do a fourth [season], I should do it in terms of economics and the audience would love it, everything points towards it except would series four be as good as the first three and actually better because it’s no good for it to be just as good? I don’t want it to outstay its welcome.”

Actually, in his career, Ricky has done any show for more than 2 seasons, But with After Life it’s different first time Ricky is coming with After Lifes Season 3 in his career, on which he talked with deadline on that same interview, where he answered that:

“This show [After Life] on Netflix is slightly grander and got more elegance than the other series of my career. And it’s more drama than the comedy so it needs a proper ending.”
