Squid Game Season 2 is Netflix survival Drama series, spins around Seong Gi-hun, who is in debt due to his gambling habit. He and the rest of the character who is living the same lifelike him, meaning they are also in huge debt to different reasons choose to join a real-life game for the prize money of ₩45.6 billion (US$40 million) to help themselves.

The prize money of the game depends on the members of the game. After joining the game all the participants know that whoever fails to clear the level will be killed.

The First Season of the Squid Game was released in September 2021. The first season of the show got huge success all around the world. Fans and the critics both appreciated the series.

Squid Game Season 1 was officially released on 17th September 2021, on Netflix, with 9 episodes each episode had a runtime of 35-65 minutes.

As far we know about the second season there is no official news or announcement about the renewal of the series.

The creator of the series Hwang Dong-hyuk has shared the second season of the series can be made, but writing, directing, and Producing all alone is a very big task to do.

There is not any official news about the cast and the characters of the series however, Lee Jung-jae can return in his role as Seong Gi-hun. Lee Byung-hun can reprise his role as The Front Man AKA Hwang in-Ho. Wi Ha-Joon’s future is still the mystery in the series.

As we witnessed in the Squid Game Season 1 ended with the Seong Gi-hun’s winning the prize money. He was able to clear all the levels in the game and win however he was consistently thinking about the Participant’s deaths and all the friends he lost for the prize money.

After Winning the prize money he still lives the same life as he never used the prize money. However, at the end of the episode, he meets player 001 and he tells him about the regret he had and why he should be using the prize money.

It’s then he recalls all the promises he had made in the game and fulfills those promises. While going to meet his daughter he sees someone at the airport playing the same game that he played and got stuck.

For the plot of the second season, we can hope that it will pick up from where the first season ended.
