Doctor Strange 2 Casting Rumours about Nicholas Cage, Wolverine and Fantastic 4 Introduction

Doctor Strange 2 Casting Rumours: For a long time, there have been some absolutely insane rumors and reports going on regarding the much-awaited Doctor Strange 2. The highly anticipated sequel of Doctor Strange has been on the minds of fans and this could be clear with rumors that are all over the internet since Marvel announced the title last summer. The movie will be the studio’s first venture into the horror genre and would explore the Multiverse like never before.

It all started when a Hollywood reporter put out a segment that was discussing the reshoots for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. We will recall that of course Multiverse of Madness has been doing extensive reshoots. This is so crazy that it has concerned so many fans about the quality of the movie and early reports indicated by some other people that the makers are simply adding a ton of cameos and exciting characters to the film.  Doctor Strange 2 seems to be unable to catch a break ever since the first film came out.

The sequel kept getting shuffled around. After much going through, now the star of the film Doctor Strange had himself offered up a worrying update about his own film having no real story or character. Fans came to know about this news through Mark Maron’s podcast where Doctor Strange himself was. He was asked about the insanity in the Multiverse of Madness, about what fans can expect, and exactly what direction the film is going in.

On this, Cumberbatch then replied that a lot of stuff has been going on in it. He then raised the possibility that does he has a character in the film. This has raised many doubts among the viewers regarding his return to the franchise. Fans are wondering if he is really going to have a really big character or something unusual is going to happen. But we must say that this is not the first time they have had something like this. Although Civil War is a Captain America movie in real it is an Avenger movie, and we cannot deny this fact.

Doctor Strange 2 Casting and Reshoot Rumours

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is either heading for reshoots because the complete movie has many disastrous events going or the makers have to finish up the scenes they couldn’t finish earlier due to restrictions. One more reason could be that the makers have to shoot a bunch of cameos. Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2) is supposed to feature, according to the rumors, Nicholas Cage or possibly some version of ghost rider, Tom Cruise as Iron Man, Emily Blunt as Black Widow, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Chris Evans as the Human Torch and others.

Rumors tell about Jared Leto would probably appear as Morbius whereas Sophia Di Martino will probably appear as Sylvie and also Tom Hiddleston as Loki. These are about half of the casting rumors what fans are expecting to be in there. Fans majorly believe that these extensive reshoots are done for cameos and to line up schedules to make this possible. The fact that they could have shot cameos in the ordinal initial shoot and the shoot after the first and second shut down or now or during other film’s production. It honestly could be anything because there seems to be a fluid of how things are moving productions and cast.

There have been quite a few actors that have been linked to the project if some rumors are to be believed. Even though makers have not confirmed any of these rumors, many sources do claim that Malachi Kirby is all set to appear as Voodoo in the movie. Some inside sources claimed that Marvel is willing to cast Emma Watson and Cillian Murphy for some important parts in Doctor Strange 2. Some rumors even claimed that the makers want the Harry Potter star to play the role of Clea while Murphy might portray Nightmare. In the comics, Clea is a romantic interest for Strange and is a powerful sorceress herself while Nightmare is a long-time nemesis of Cumberbatch’s character and could probably be the main villain.

What can happen in Marvel’s Next?

Fans are much awaited for the anticipated Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which is indeed going to be the most important film of the franchise. One of the main reasons why this would be an important film is that it would directly tie into both WandaVision and Loki Marvel President Kevin Feige had already made clear about the same. It is likely to form the foundation for the Strange sequel while the latter’s narrative may face the movie’s repercussions.

It’s absolutely surreal to be working on a Doctor Strange movie with Sam Raimi in one part of the office, and then working on a Spider-Man movie with Jon Watts and Alfred Molina as Doc Ock in another room. That has been a mind-blowing part of the last 10 years of my life.

Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness or Doctor Strange 2 would be responsible for initiating a dialogue between the cinema and the streaming platform. An endless collection of TV shows and movies might be following the suit if fans are good at keeping up with the interweaving narratives on both platforms. However, this is not the only way the movie is bound to impress as there is much more to expect.

Another reason would be Marvel’s recent announcement that certain characters of the Fantastic Four join the team. Considering the fact that Patrick Stewart recently met Kevin Feige regarding Professor Xavier, there might be something new that viewers can see. If these rumors turn out to be true, the sequel of Doctor Strange might catalyze the formation of a new superhero team while setting up a path that leads to the X-Men and the Fantastic Four.  Another fact making the film much important it is likely is going to the next step in the evolution of the MCU.

This movie is going to show fans some sort of thing that fans cannot even imagine. It will likely be free to explore multiple universes and parallel worlds functioning according to different presents and pasts. This would be interesting!!! Isn’t it?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Teaser

Coming to the film being a crossover event, some rumors suggest that the sequel of Doctor Strange would be featuring numerous superhero cameos from alternate timelines. There have even been reports that the Doctor Strange sequel would likely go to be a continuation of Spider-Man 3. These signs do hint towards the fact that Doctor Strange 2 could probably be an Avengers-style crossover event. Another sign that suggests so is that Doctor Strange 2 could be the next crossover in the MCU was a recent interview with Cumberbatch.

Confirmed Characters

The actor had appeared on a panel with The Concordia Forum but he put the camera on the ceiling in his trailer instead of his face which forced the fans to believe the same. Another Marvel rumor has recently come out from an insider. The reports claimed that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will even feature characters from Eternals. Another possible leak that indicates that the sequel of Doctor Strange will be an Avengers-style crossover event comes from the concept art that will be used to make toys based on the film. There’s art for Wong (Benedict Wong), Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and of course Doctor Strange.

Some of these rumors might be true and fans wish that many of them should be true. The movie is going to release in May 2022 and will disclose the many hidden facts and rumors surfacing on the internet. Once again, the fans are waiting to get into the much adventurous sequel of the film with many new characters on boards. Also, fans are likely to see many new things that they would never have imagined.
