Finally, the wait is over the Trailer was released with good news for the fans. The trailer of the second season has revealed the release date of Euphoria Season 2.

Euphoria is a teen drama series that spin around high schoolers, who are struggling with drugs, love and are not able to find their real identity. Rue is the 17-year-old girl main lead of the series played by Zendaya. Zendaya has won some of the awards for this role, one of them is Primetime Emmy.

The first season of the series was released in June 2019 after that fans have been waiting for season 2. Euphoria Season 2 was already planned to be released in 2020, however, all the hope ended in smoke due to coronavirus. Fans were amazed on Wednesday 23rd when they got to know that their wait is over now, finally, they have got a release date for the series. Euphoria season 2 will be released on 9th January 2022. Just like season 1, season 2’s episodes will release weekly on HBO.

Jacob Elordi will reprise his role as Nate, Maddy will reprise her role as Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney will reprise her role as Cassie, a girl who is famous for dating Nate’s friends. Maude Apatow will reprise the role as Lexi, Barbie Ferreira will reprise her role as Kat, Angus Cloud will reprise the role as Fezco, Fezco is Rue’s drug dealer, and none other than Colman Domingo will reprise the role as Ali. We might see some new faces in season 2.

Possible Plotline for Euphoria Season 2

For the plotline of Euphoria Season 2, all we could say is the series will pick up from the season 1 ended. In the last episodes of season 1, we witnessed that Jules and Rue both planned to leave the town with each other, however at the end of the moment Rue takes her step back, it’s when Jules leaves the town alone and now their future is pretty unclear as we don’t know where it will take both of them.

We saw Rue after 3 months and in these three months, a lot has changed for her and her friends. Nate and Maddy have ended their relationship when they realised that they are in a toxic relationship.

In the same episode, we saw Maddy stealing a DVD from Nate’s room and now she is shocked after what she saw, it might be shown in the second season that what was in the DVD that Maddy is this shocked.

As we already know there has been a huge gap between season 1 and season 2, to fulfill that gap Euphoria released some special episodes.
