DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 2 – Netflix Confirmed the release date

DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 2 had already been confirmed by Netflix via the official teaser of the much-awaited anime on its official youtube channel. The Netflix Original Anime was launched on March 25th in 2021 and since then the fans were waiting for its next season and good news for the fans as we have got the official release date of the show. Inspired from the video game of the same name Dota, The Series was well-received by the anime fans which can be seen in its IMDb ratings which 7.9 out of 10 and 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is really very good for season 1 of any anime show.

DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 2 Confirmation

Although the official Twitter handle of DOTA Dragon was mentioned as Book 2 in the tweet. But you need not be disappointed as the first season of the show was also marked as Book1 so it’s genuinely about the anime’s season 2.

The same was confirmed by its teaser which was dropped by Netflix on its official Youtube Channel, which had mentioned that season 2 or Book 2 is coming to the streaming giant in January 2022. And as per animatic editor, Robert Burnett shared on Bustle that he is currently working on 24 episodes of Dota: Dragon’s Blood, which ultimately suggests that season 2 will not end we will get the other seasons too.  The popularity of the show was itself the reason which had continued the Netflix Original Anime for more seasons.

Release Date of Season 2

Netflix’s Official Youtube has already confirmed the Expected Release Date of the show, by the trailer, which says the DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 2 will be back with dragons and all our beloved characters on the streaming giant in January. But now the Confirmed Release Date has also been announced by Netflix on their portal which is 18 January 2022. The episode count of the show has not been announced but as per season 1, we can expect the same 10 episodes in the upcoming season 2.

What can happen in Season 2?

The DOTA: Dragon’s Blood seson 1 was ended with the quest for dual storylines and the eight episodes of the show were really outstanding.

Season 1 of the anime was ended with Princess Mirana leading the team to the Drak Moon Order back to the Nightsilver Woods. Selemene was confronted by Terrorblade and she came to know that her former lover had made the deal with the demon.

The story will forward from here as we may see the Selemene’s dilemma of confronting her former lover, Terrorblade will receive souls from the GOddess of Soul and various other plots can be explored in Season 2.
