Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Quarantined for Christmas After Testing Positive for COVID-19

This year, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was forced to spend Christmas in quarantine. He has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the real personality.

On Christmas Eve, the Jersey Shore star took to Instagram to disclose the news of his condition, as well as the fact that he and his family would be spending the holiday on lockdown while he battled the ailment.

“This year has given me a lot to be thankful for. The first Christmas of Romeo, my sixth year of sobriety, and the love of friends and family, “Mike wrote a description for the slideshow, which featured several photographs of his wife, Lauren, and their 1-year-old son, Romeo. “Unfortunately, I am not in any images since I am under quarantine due to a positive Covid test the day before.”

Lauren also shared images from their quiet Christmas celebration, when she spent the night with her little son and the family dog, while Mike remained cooped up in bed.

Mike and Lauren documented their darling son’s first Christmas with a bunch of sweet baby photos including him in some incredibly cute X-mas onesies on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Mike and Lauren were strong champions for self-quarantining at the outset of the epidemic in April 2020– and worked with the New Jersey government to persuade others to do the same. The couple, who had not yet welcomed their baby boy, spoke to ET’s Rachel Smith about their choice to share the word about the necessity of flattening the curve.
