Hawkeye Season 2: Jeremy Renner & Hailee Steinfeld Compete To See Who Is The Best Archer

Published by

Hawkeye Season 2 Updates: Hawkeye ended just before Christmas, leaving us with a void in our hearts. But, fortunately for us, Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld aren’t ready to hang up their bows just yet, as a new Disney+ featurette depicts a showdown between the two stars for the title of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s best archer.

Hawkeye’s six episodes reintroduce Clint Barton (Renner) to the world of superheroes when a young lady called Kate Bishop (Steinfeld) assumes the role of Ronin, which he wore between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Unfortunately for Kate, while playing Ronin, Clint made a lot of enemies, and they’ll all be after her as she strives to become a heroine. In a festive tale filled with carols and adorned trees, it’s up to Clint to help Kate, take down evil people, and return home in time for Christmas.

While Clint is ready to hand over the Hawkeye mantle to the next generation, Renner isn’t about to relinquish his position as best marksman without a battle. Renner and Steinfeld take turns in a variety of games that test their aim and precision in the new featurette.

Balloon-popping with darts, pizza-themed pillow-throwing, and toy-archery with MCU villains as targets are all on the menu. At the conclusion of the tournament, Steinfeld demonstrates that she is more than ready to begin her Avenger career in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Renner has a decade of experience as Hawkeye, and he proves he’s still the champ when it comes to managing a bow in real life.

Hawkeye Season 2 Renewal Details, And Much more

Collider

Hawkeye stars Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Alaqua Cox, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Brian d’Arcy James and is directed by Jonathan Igla for Disney+. Florence Pugh, who played Yelena Belova in Black Widow, also appears in the show.

Jolt, a golden retriever, will portray Lucky the Pizza Dog in the episode. Finally, Hawkeye brought back a fan-favorite character from the Marvel TV programs that were available on Netflix when they were first launched.

There’s still no official word on whether or not Hawkeye Season 2 will happen. Hawkeye director Rhys Thomas, on the other hand, expressed gratitude for the show’s positive reception and stated that he would be willing to return. “I cannot talk to future plans in the tradition of secrecy,” Thomas told Collider.

Again, with the program debuting, you never know how it will be received, and it has been incredible to see how enthusiastically people have embraced and liked it. It’s been fantastic to see Hailee’s character embraced and firmly established in the MCU. I’m really excited to see where that character goes next. And sure, I enjoyed going through the MCU’s streets and would definitely do so again.”
