Season 3 of the Outer Banks was renewed by Netflix on December 7 of 2022 by the cast of the series. This means the main lead of the series has been announced with a possible release date. The showrunners have already announced Season 4 and Season 5 of the Outer Banks during an interview with Entertainment Weekly in 2020.

The series’s season 1 was first released in 2020 and just after one year, we got the Outer Banks Season 2.
