The Witcher Season 3 Updates: Netflix renewed The Witcher even before the first season premiered in December 2019. The streamer was well aware that it had an epic jewel on its hands, and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hiissrich was ready to go the distance. hiss rich underlined the significance of not committing herself into the one book each season model, in addition to being flexible to changing that seven-year plan to the rising source material. Season 2 is an adaptation of Blood of Elves, for example, but hiss rich will add one major tale from that book into Season 3.

If you want to learn more about Hiss rich’s experience working on The Witcher Season 2, including how she incorporated a humorous poke at her own show, how she handled a pivotal sequence between Geralt (Henry Cavill) and Triss (Anna Shaffer), and more, keep reading.
