The plot of How I Met Your Father is somewhere quite similar to that of How I Met Your Mother. We are going to see Hillary Duff in lead. In this American situational comedy, we are going to see some family drama in a fun way. We will see the future self of Sophie, is Kim Cattrall who tells the story to their kids about how she met their father.

The story is set in 2022 where the group of friends are there and finding their identity. They are figuring how to fall in love in this world where people are falling in love through a dating app.

The sequel is produced by Hillary Duff and created by Isaac Aptaker as well as Elizabeth Bergu. The episode of 18 January 2022 is directed by Pamela Fryman.

The cast of How I Met Your Father is of two types, some actors were there in How I Met Your Mother and some came for the first time in this series. The cast is as follows: we are going to see Hillary Duff as Sophie, we are also going to see Kim Cattrall as Sophie but as a future one. There is also Chris Lowell as Jessie, Suraj Sharma as Sid, Tien Tran as Ellen, Francia Raisa will be seen as Valentina, and Tom Ainsley as Charlie.

How I Met Your Mother had 9 episodes but unfortunately it ended in 2014. The ending of the series was totally disappointing and that is the reason why fans were expecting a lot from the upcoming sequel but it seems that it failed.
