Kim Kardashian Wants to Be Legally Single Before Her Divorce

Kim Kardashian Updates: Reportedly, Kim Kardashian who is 41 has filed an application to be legally single before getting her divorce from Kanye West who is 44. Kim has also used the KKW initial in various brands and now she wants to drop the surname West from her name.

This legal phrase means that two people who were previously in a marriage have signed an agreement, specifically a settlement or separation agreement which states that now they’re legally separated. After this, the last step would be to get the divorce papers signed and approved by the relevant authorities.

It is also interesting to note that in the United States two parties cannot get remarried until they get legally divorced. This would restrict Kim as well as Kanye West to remarry another person until their official divorce.

However, an official divorce is granted after both parties solve their issues regarding the assets and custody of their children. If during this process the parties want they can file an application in the court for the ‘bifurcation of marital status’ before their legal divorce.

These papers were filed by Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser. It is known to everybody that Kim and Kanye West have four children named North, Saint, Chicago and  Psalm whom they co parent.

Kanye made a dramatic move at the Larry Hoover Benefit Concert where he said, ” Baby, I need you to run right back to me, more specifically, Kimberly”.  It must be pointed out that Kim Kardashian wasn’t seen during the live stream at LA Memorial Coliseum but was photographed as she was entering the venue with her sister Kendall Jenner and her mother’s boyfriend Corey Gamble.

Kim Kardashian has already thrown Kanye West out of their property known by the name of Hidden Hills in CA which is worth $23 million.
