A Chicago-based marketing executive is dispatched to Paris to assist at a boutique marketing agency that her large corporation has acquired. Emily in Paris is a documentary about Emily’s adventures in Paris.

Despite their strong friendship, Emily and Camille slept together in the series’ last episode, ostensibly as a farewell before Gabriel moved for Normandy to build his own restaurant in the French capital. Then, in a surprising change of events, Emily’s client Antoine decides to invest in Gabriel’s Parisian restaurant, allowing him to stay… What comes next?

Emily will travel to different locales in France in Season 2 to figure out what to do about Gabriel and his girlfriend/her (fake) buddy Camille.

“The relationship between these three characters can be a true examination of how does it evolve in the next chapter,” says Darren Starr, the show’s creator. Because these folks aren’t from the United States, this is something I’m looking forward to in Season 2. They communicate in French. Season 2 will introduce a slew of new and fascinating romantic options.”
