The filming of Ozark mostly took in the locations of Atlanta such as Lake Lanier & at Lake Allatoona with a fun fact like it was never filmed in the location “Lake of Ozark” & the reason behind this is tax breaker by the state of Georgia. Also, frequent scenes are also shot at Chicago Locations, in addition to the filming also taking place in the location of Georgia such as Savannah, Norcross, Johns Creek, and Peachtree Corners.

Show Star, Jason Bateman & director Emmy-winning told in an interview which was with Indiewire & revealed that production for the show started in November 2020 with taking all the precautions against the Covid 19.
Season 4 has finished filming
As of now, Jason Bateman revealed that filming of the season 4 of Ozark is packed & is solely left for the filming of the last episode which has already taken place by the respective cast. Unlike the early seasons of Ozark which only had 10 episodes, season 4 will be released with a total of 14 episodes.
