In Episode 4, dubbed ‘Bear Down,’ the girls may discover guns in the cabin in 1996 and learn how to use them in order to hunt for food. The chasm between Jackie and the rest of the group will widen.
Taissa will have to cope with inquiries about how she and the others survived 19 months in such an unfriendly environment during a gathering with possible affluent benefactors in 2021. Natalie will search for Travis’ assailant elsewhere.
Three days have passed since the crash in episode 3, named ‘The Dollhouse,’ in 1996, and the girls begin to worry if the rescue will ever arrive, unaware that Misty has damaged the transmitter. When Taissa discovers a lake and persuades the others to relocate, a disagreement arises between her and Jackie, who prefers to remain in their current location.
They come across a cabin while at the lake. When they arrive at the cabin, they find it to be deserted. However, one of the females, Lottie, is uneasy. She discovers a dead body in the attic at the end of the episode.
Shauna accuses Jeff of cheating on her in 2021, so she follows him to a hotel, where she meets Adam and they have sex. Natalie and Misty learn that Travis is no longer alive.
Meanwhile, Taissa’s son’s conduct becomes increasingly violent and unsettling, and it appears like a malicious spirit that has terrorized her family for generations has returned.
