Silent Night Christmas Horror Movie Trailer Released

Silent Night Updates: “Let’s not forget how fun it’s going to be up there.” We’ve got an exclusive first-look clip at the excellent upcoming Christmas movie Silent Night, out in UK cinemas next Friday (December 3).

The all-star cast includes Downton Abbey’s Matthew Goode, Peaky Blinders star Annabelle Wallis, The Good Place’s Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Motherland’s Lucy Punch, and, most excitingly of all, Keira Knightley in her first festive movie since Love Actually.

However, Silent Night is no Love Actually. As you can see in the clip above, a group of friends has reunited to celebrate a Christmas like no other: their last Christmas on Earth.

That obviously makes saying grace before dinner a bit trickier than usual for Simon (Goode), but his wife Nell (Knightley) is on hand to help out before Sandra (Wallis) ends it on a high note: “Let’s not forget how fun it’s going to be up there.”

Silent Night marks the movie debut of writer/director Camille Griffin and it centers on the group of old friends celebrating Christmas in an idyllic country home, all the while trying to ignore mankind’s imminent destruction

But no amount of stiff upper lip and prosecco can distract them from their impending doom. It might be their last night on Earth, but there’s still time for old secrets to be revealed and fractures to appear in their close-knit relationships.

It’s the end of the world as they know it – and they are far from feeling fine.

The movie also stars Jojo Rabbit breakout star Roman Griffin Davis, Ṣọpé Dìrísù, Rufus Jones, and Lily-Rose Depp. It was produced by Kingsman’s Matthew Vaughn, Trudie Styler, and Celine Rattray of Maven Screen Media.
