Wolf Movie First Trailer Released, George MacKay Thinks He is A Wolf

Wolf Movie Updates: Wolf, starring George MacKay and Lily-Rose Depp, has just released its official trailer. Wolf is a film about a young guy who believes he is a wolf trapped within a human body. The drama is written and directed by Nathalie Biancheri, who helmed 2019’s festival favorite Nocturnal. Focus Features will release Wolf in theatres on December 3rd.

Wolf’s video opens at a type of post-conversion rehabilitation camp for persons suffering from Species Identity Disorder, which occurs when people believe they are animals trapped in human bodies. Jacob, the main character, chooses to undergo this therapy and, along with many other young people, is exposed to a variety of “treatments” that are meant to help him. To put an end to his yearning to be a wolf Jacob strikes a relationship with a young woman named Wildcat while in therapy.

Jacob discovers he wants to get away from this type of therapy and live his truth as the trailer progresses, but a mystery man known as The Zookeeper threatens Jacob’s chances of escaping.

Star MacKay is a rising star who is coming off a breakout performance in the 2019 film 1917. Munich — The Edge of War, The Trick, and I Came By are among his future roles. Rose-Depp, Johnny Depp’s daughter, has had a busy year, starring in numerous new films in addition to Wolf, including Crisis, Voyagers, and Silent Night.

Paddy Considine (The World’s End), Eileen Walsh (Catastrophe), Fionn O’Shea (Handsome Devil), and Lola Petticrew (Wolf) all feature in Wolf (Dating Amber).

Wolf had its world premiere a few weeks ago at the Toronto International Film Festival. This interesting picture might prove to be a significant Oscar candidate, given its December release date. MacKay’s committed performance as Jacob might perhaps earn him his first Oscar nod for best actor.

Jacob (George MacKay) eats, sleeps, and lives like a wolf, much to the surprise of his family, believing he is a wolf imprisoned in a human body. Jacob and his animal-bound classmates are forced to undergo more brutal sorts of ‘curative’ therapy when they are taken to a facility.

Jacob is presented with a hurdle when he meets the mysterious Wildcat (Lily-Rose Depp), and their friendship evolves into an obvious infatuation.
