Jared Leto Reflects on Head-to-Head Confrontation with Adam Driver in House of Gucci

Jared Leto Updates: Jared Leto praised the director and the co-star of House of Gucci, Adam Driver. The Oscar-winning actress walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of the new biographical drama staged by Ridley Scott.

And has spoken to the media reporters about working with Driver and the fascination that surrounds both stars among their fans.

“Oh, we could poetically talk about the presence, the tall, dark, mysterious, handsome Adam Driver,” Leto said with a smile. “I had a great time with him.

In the film, Leto plays Paolo Gucci, cousin of Maurizio Gucci from Adam Driver, son of Aldo Gucci (Al Pacino), and nephew of Patriarch Rodolfo Gucci (Jeremy Irons).

House of Gucci” is influenced by the harrowing real story of the family behind the Italian fashion empire. When Patricia Reggiani, (Lady Gaga), emerges from humble beginnings, marries the Gucci family, her unbridled ambition begins to unravel the family’s legacy and unleashes a reckless downward spiral of betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately…murder.

“He’s a really good actor and it was really fun to go toe-to-toe with him, to get in the ring with him, and he made just the perfect partner,” Leto shared. “So yeah, I’m really happy.” For his part, playing the famous Paolo Gucci, Leto underwent an incredible transformation that included make-up, prosthetics, and developing Paolo’s voice.

“In an interview he did, you could hear a bit of Paolo’s voice. But it wasn’t much,” said Leto. “So I had a general direction and then I stole some from my good friend Alessandro Michele, the creative director of Gucci.

For his part, Leto, who played the famous Paolo Gucci (Paolo Gucci), has undergone incredible transformations, including makeup, prosthetics, and developing Paul’s voice.

Leto also revealed that Michele helped style his look for the premiere, where he rocked a striking Gucci ensemble from head to toe.

House of Gucci hits theaters on November 24th.
