Riverdale Season 6 Episode 2 Sneak Peek

Riverdale Season 6 Episode 2
Nerd & Beyond

Veronica (Camila Mendes) had broken up with Archie and decided to return to New York City; Betty (Lili Reinhart) had graduated from the FBI academy and decided to re-open Riverdale’s FBI field office, and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) was getting cozy with Tabitha when we last saw the crazy kids of “Riverdale” (Erinn Westbrook).

Then Betty and Archie decided to pursue their romance, while Veronica opted to stay in Riverdale and build a casino instead. Betty and Archie were supposedly blown up by a bomb in the final minutes of the season.

When “Riverdale” returns for its sixth season in November and December 2021, the show will run a five-episode event before returning in March 2022 for the rest of the season.

“Chapter Ninety-Six: Welcome to Rivervale” is the opening episode in the five-episode event, and its description reads, “Following the explosion that ended Season Five, a new day dawns in the town of Rivervale, where everything is as it should be.” The town’s power couple is now Veronica and Reggie, while Jughead and Tabitha move in together. However, with Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) insisting on a return to the ‘old ways,’ this tranquility will undoubtedly be short-lived. And how did Archie and Betty manage to stay alive?”

The second episode, “Chapter Ninety-Seven: Ghost Stories,” will air on November 23, followed by “Chapter Ninety-Eight: Mr. Cypher” on November 30.

In season six, Sabrina the teenage witch (Kiernan Shipka) from “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” makes her debut in Riverdale. Sabrina and Cheryl appear to be old friends (enemies?) in the teaser. Cheryl is converting Thornhill into a girls’ school, and it appears that everyone will be terrified by the ghost of Abigail Blossom.

Apa discussed the seven-year time leap in an interview with Nerds of Color, saying, “The maturity in the characters is a great thing to come back to, but that didn’t necessarily change a lot.” A lot of the storyline’s crazy stuff is still going on, which is fantastic, but it was nice to return and be a bit more grounded.”

The CW’s “Riverdale” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.
