Adele said that there are many reasons why her release took this long and got delayed several times due to the Covid pandemic. She found this to be the best time to release her album to her fans all over the world.

And also said that “Obviously, it’s way better than last year, but the day my album comes out, someone’s loved one will have died from COVID. For them, it’s going to be a reminder every time they hear ‘Easy on Me’ on the radio.”
She also said that she won’t be giving a follow-up to the album with a tour due to the pandemic situation.
She said that it is really very unpredictable when it comes to the rules and the other stuff.
She said that “I don’t want anyone coming to my show scared. And I don’t want to get COVID, either.”
