Drake Updates: Eight people were killed and hundreds injured at the AstroWorld Festival in Houston, Texas. The artist, who co-starred with Travis Scott on Friday night, said on his Instagram on Monday that he was heartbroken and would be in service as much as he could.

Eight deaths at Astrovorld were confirmed by Houston Fire Chief Sam Pena during a news conference Friday night. At a concert in Houston’s NRG Park, Pena said 300 concertgoers were treated at the hospital and 17 – 11 were taken to a local hospital with a heart attack.
As soon as Scott released a statement, he revealed how devastated, he was about the death.

It was later reported that Scott would refund anyone who bought a ticket to Astroworld. Variety said Scott will not be interfering at the N Vegas event scheduled for Saturday at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds this weekend.
On Monday, TMZ Houston law firm Roberts Markland LLP announced that it had filed seven lawsuits, alleging that both Scott and Live Nation failed to provide adequate security and a security plan to protect participants.
Concert Christian Parades sued Drake and Scott and Live Nation. According to court documents obtained by ET, there was a march in front of the general admission section and the only thing separating the general admission section and the VIP section was the metal barrier.
