The duo was present at the 10th annual LACMA ART+FILM GALA. Gucci presented this function at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday.
The GRAMMY-nominated singer and the Normal People star looked striking in their outfits. Bridgers, 27, wore a Gucci gown with an ivory lace top and a checkered skirt to the occasion. She placed her head on the shoulder of Mescal at one point as they were shooting photos.
The actor, 25, appeared dashing in a black tuxedo. It may come as a surprise, but the designer who created Bridgers’ dress also created tux of Mescal. The scene was actually a cute yet curious one as people were constantly speculating about their relationship status.
Although there are no confirmations of their relationships apart from them getting pictured together, rumors about them being in a romantic connection arose last year. Bridgers referred to Mescal as “the cute boy” in an NME magazine interview in June 2020.
She revealed how her heart was “pitter-pattering” when she found out that Mescal was following her on Instagram. She said, “I got a little pitter-patter in my heart when I saw [he followed my Instagram page.]”
Now this calls for attention! Bridgers might have just subtly revealed that she likes Mescal through this statement. The closeness of such celebrities remains no secret from people. It is the paps or the fans who eventually find out what actually the matter is. And without a doubt, it is again the fans who joined the dots and concluded that perhaps the duo is dating.
The fans began to observe them spending more time together afterward. In addition to it, the actor appeared in her 2020 music video for Savior Complex.
So, are the two slowly but steadily confirming their relationship? It is yet to get discovered, but it definitely seems that they two are really close.
