The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter called Pfeiffer Lucia, into the world. On Thursday, the delighted parents announced the happy news on social media. The actor shared a selfie of himself with his new baby girl, announcing that she was born on October 26.

Hofmann also shared images of herself and her kid, as well as the fact that she gave birth at home.

“Our beautiful baby, Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman, was born at home on October 26th at 8:33 am, weighing 6.6lb,” she shared. “Pfeiffer, for always feeling connected to nature and the sea in her heart, and Lucia, for always being our little ‘light.’ We love you little Pfeiff @scottspeedman.”

In July 2017, the Grey’s Anatomy actor and Hoffman were originally linked. Hofmann announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day, flaunting her baby belly.
