Holiday Wars Season 3 Coming to Food Network: Release Date and Time

Holiday Wars Season 3 is back! It’s that time of the year again.

Holiday Wars is set to return with its third season on November 7, 2021. The festive time of the year is back and so is the 60-minute reality food television series.
Holiday Wars first kicked off on November 25, 2018. The following year it premiered on December 1. Holiday wars air on Sundays at 9 in the night on the food Network.

The plot of Holiday wars:

Three teams must compete in two festive rounds, which include a snowball fight challenge in which the artists must use cake and sugar to create an edible holiday design in 45 minutes. One winning team gains a significant advantage in the Winter Blizzard challenge, in which the team is tasked with creating an eye-catching, masterful Christmas display made entirely of cake and sugar. One team will jingle all the way home with a $10,000 grand prize at the end of this battle.

What’s new in Holiday Wars Season 3?

The format of holiday wars kept changing in the previous years. At first, the cash prize kept for winners was $10, 000. The following year it became $25, 000 and remained the same in 2020 as well. Food Network has not yet announced the cash prize for season 3 and has only announced 5 episodes for the season. Although it is believed that this is false information and later a few more episodes might be added to the show.

Host and Judges of Holiday Wars:

The first season was judged by Shinmin Li and Jason Smith. For the second season, Li remained as a judge and was accompanied by Erin McGinn Acevedo.
Season 3 is going to be hosted by Maneet Chauhan and as judges, viewers will see Li and Aarti Sequeira.

New additions to season 3:

As previously stated, Holiday Wars has made some format changes for its third season, in addition to a new host and one new judge. In previous years, the show began mid-competition, as FoodSided pointed out. Without any introduction, background, or explanation, viewers were thrown into the midst of teams creating a holiday display, creating the impression that you missed the first part of the show. But this year that will be changed and players would play more accordingly.

Three teams will compete in each of the first three episodes, with one eliminated at the end of each (a total of six remain by Episode 4). The field will be reduced to five teams by the end of Episode 4, and one more team will be eliminated by the end of Episode 5. However, because Food Network has only announced five episodes so far, it seems reasonable to assume that Season 3 of “Holiday Wars” will continue past the fifth episode. We do know that the episodes will be as wacky as those from previous seasons.
