Jeremy Renner Calls Co-stars For Stealing Thor’s Hammer

Jeremy Renner Updates: Chris Hemsworth recently got called out by his fellow Avengers star Jeremy Renner for stealing a prop off the set. Renner said this while he was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

In the show, he also announced his return as Hawkeye in the upcoming mini-series with the same name. Jeremy revealed that a particular item was taken away by Chris while they were shooting one of the MCU movies.

“I never, over the decade or so of doing the Avengers and all that sort of stuff, I never took anything ’cause they asked us not to, and my mom taught me, well… So I never took anything,” said Renner when Jimmy asked him why he did not take a prop or two home like his co-stars from the MCU sets.

Renner also playfully referred to his MCU co-stars, particularly Chris Hemsworth, as “dirtbags.” He jokingly said that all the Avengers took something or the other.

What he exactly said was, “All the Avengers took stuff, the dirtbags! They stole something. Thor’s got his hammer.” But ultimately, seeing the others, he also took the Hawkeye costume after taking permission from the production team.

What Jeremy Renner Revealed?

The News International

Renner revealed that after finishing his show off, his daughter’s school authority asked him to be the valet guy. Basically, the school needs an adult when they drop off your kid. So, Renner thought that if he had to do it, then, he would do it in his Hawkeye costume. That sure was an innovative idea from Renner. But what if the production wanted it back?

Renner already had this answer before anyone could ask him about it. “I don’t know if they’re gonna ask for it back, I probably won’t give it back at this point, but I got it, finally,” said the actor playfully.

Now, Jeremy Renner is getting ready for the launch of the Hawkeye series on Disney+ on November 24. Hailee Steinfeld will co-star with him as Kate Bishop/Hawkeye in the six-episode mini-series. This series will air weekly till December 29.

The story will see Clint Barton, a former Avenger, who has an apparently easy mission will return to his family for Christmas. But will it be easy at all? Perhaps with the assistance of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer who aspires to be a Super Hero. When something or someone from Barton’s past attempts to disrupt much more than the holiday joy, the duo is compelled to work closely.
