Elizabeth Plays The Role Of Candy In Love and Death

Elizabeth Update: We finally get to see a glimpse of Love & Death, the series of 2022 and it is definitely worth waiting for. The HBO Max series has cast Elizabeth Olsen in the main role of the true crime-based story, where Candy Montgomery, in the year 1980 murdered a friend with an ax.

The shooting of the show is happening in Kyle, Texas, and is expected to be released in the year 2022. The show has revealed some photographs where the character Olsen is playing the role of a housewife in Texas, and found to sing church’s choir and also design a restaurant with someone unknown.

The rest of the cast who joined to play their roles in the horrific story are Jesse Plemons, Patrick Fugit, and Lily Rabe.

Rabe will be playing the charter of the murder victim Betty Gore, and Plemons will be playing the role of Allan, Betty’s husband whose affair with Candy leads to various dangerous events. We will also see Fugit as Pat, Candy’s husband along with Tom Pelphrey, Keir Gilchrist, Krysten Ritter, Tom Pelphrey, and Elizabeth Marvel.

David E. Kelley is a producer and writer of the project joined by other producers namely- Per Saari and Nicole Kidman and the production is getting the name of Blossom Films. Sune of the episodes is directed and produced by Lesli Linka Glatter. The plot of the series is taken from the book Evidence of Love: A story which is based on passion and death by John Bloom also known as horror host Joe Bob Briggs and Jim Atkinson.

This isn’t the only product that is working on the Play, also Hulu is working on the murder content which is titled, Candy.

Melanie Lynskey will be playing the role of Betty, and Jessica Biel will be playing Candy. Elisabeth Moss is replaced by Biel as she dropped out and Nick Antosca and Robin Veith are jointly creating the series. Michael Uppendahl is the director of the series.

The series is expected to stream on HBO Max soon in the year 2022.
