Ed Sheeran Tests Positive for COVID-19, Will Do All Planned Performances From Home

Ed Sheeran Updates: The Grammy-winning singer, Ed Sheeran had recently made public on his social media profiles that he has tested positive for covid 19.

He revealed on Sunday that due to Covid he won’t be able to attain any performances or interviews, but will surely try to participate from home if possible as he wants to keep himself isolated for a while, to prevent the further spread of this disease.

He shared that “Hey guys. Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines,” along he added “It means that I’m now unable to plow ahead with any in-person commitments, for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Apologies to anyone I’ve let down. Be safe everyone x.”

The news became public that just a few days before his upcoming album release, which is on 29th October, he joined his voice as a mega mentor, on Monday.

An announcement has been made this Saturday that, the singer is preparing for a tour to promote his new project and will be performing as a musical guest on 6th November, on Saturday Night Live. It is now very unclear that how his diagnosis of the disease will impact his role in the competition series or performance on SNL.

Sheeran said last month at MTV Video Music Awards to include Courteney Cox, and said that “She sings. I’m pretty sure she sings on background vocals on the album. I think she’s on ‘Visiting Hours,'” to ET’s Rachel Smith and did that she was definitely somewhere in his last album.

It might sound or of the box but it’s not for the British songwriter who has a good link to Cox.

He said that Johnny, his songwriter, and producer is presently dating her and also added that how they worked for so many projects together like they wrote ‘Shape of You‘, ‘Bad Habits’.

After experiencing different life moments, Sheeran wants to share new music with his fans and is even quite excited about it.

He also told to ET “I got married. I became a father,” and added “I lost a really close friend and turned 30. I feel like it’s coming to terms album.”
