Sarah Paulson Updates: “Divorce, babe, divorce,” says Adele, 33, in her first Instagram Live on Oct. 9 when her fans questioned her latest album, 30, by fans. That statement was repeated on Wednesday (Oct. 20), as actresses Sarah Paulson and Leslie Grossman connected over their admiration for the famous singer on their respective IG Live. When the topic shifted to Adele’s unforgettable IG chat with her admirers, Sarah, 46, and Leslie, 49, both gave spectacular impersonations of the Grammy winner.
“Divorce, babe, divorce,” the duo exclaimed. They were almost exactly in rhythm when they shouted the statement, and they both laughed immediately after.
However, Sarah has been compared to Adele for years. And this is what made the impersonation more amazing. Fans have been posting pictures of the Impeachment star and the “Hello” singer on Twitter for a long time. The fans marveled at the fact that how closely the two celebrities resemble.
One fan commented on Oct. 15 that they can’t tell the difference between Adele and Sarah Paulson as they truly look the same. While another remarked that it’s quite suspicious that the two ladies have never “been seen in the same room at the same time” after so many years.

Sarah reportedly began trending on Twitter after Adele uploaded the iconic, slimmed-down birthday picture in May 2020. About which she talked about two weeks later in an interview with SiriusXM. “I was just scrolling through it and I was like, ‘Oh, it’s the Adele thing again,'” Sarah explained at the moment.
After seeing herself trending on Twitter all of a sudden, Sarah said, “I was like, what? Did I die? What happened?” Continuing further, she further revealed, “This has been going on for a while, this Adele looks like Sarah Paulson, Sarah Paulson looks like Adele.”
Although the 45-year-old actor expressed gratitude for the parallels, she said that she hoped people compared their talent instead of their beauty.
“Listen, I’ll take it,” says Sarah. “I mean, I wish they were comparing my talent to hers and saying that mine was as great as hers. Which, quite honestly, they can’t say because no one’s talent is as great as hers,” says Sarah in a light-hearted way. She also says that might be vexing, but she will settle for resembling her. Adele is stunning, to say the least, according to Sarah. So she is up for taking the comparison as a compliment.
