Ernie Hudson Reacts to ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ & Talks Season 3 of ‘The Family Business

Ernie Hudson Updates: ET’s Matt Cohen, 75, in a chat interview said that he got invited by Ivan Reitman and Jason for early screening for a film and he happened to like it. 

He expresses how touched he got but it although he hasn’t seen the final cut, he also said that he got amazed by how the show brought it into another generation with new casts.

He also added that he is so amazed and excited for the show’s release and how the fans must have been waiting with excitement for over 30 years, along with that he said the audience will not be disappointed after seeing the show.

In ‘creepy old farmhouse’ Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) discovered their grandfather’s ghostbusting past and realized how fearless they were of ghosts. 

Paul Rudd plays the character of a science teacher and a true believer, and Carrie Coon played the kid’s single mother.

Hudson expressed his happiness as he played different roles in different films namely L.C. Duncan in Bet’s the family business for season three and as an iconic character in the film follows up. 

He explained how in this show he got to show the darker side of his character after he played a nice character as everybody’s father in Ghostbusters

The show portrays the character’s love and protectiveness towards his family in some moments. 

The show is based on a book of Carl Weathers, whose actor in its movie is an executive producer of the series, admits that he is a fan of the author.

 In season three, plenty of twists and turns have been created for the fans for fun and excitement along with new stars like Sheila.
