Tom Hiddleston Will Be Replaced in Loki Season 2?

Tom Hiddleston Updates: Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, is perhaps the most beloved supervillain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s been a part of the franchise since nearly the beginning, so replacing him may seem unfathomable to some.

But there is a lot of precedent in the comics – and the ancient Norse tales – for the God of Mischief altering his appearance, so if the British actor decides to take a vacation from the Marvel universe, it wouldn’t be breaking the canon to attempt something new with him. And it’s possible that’s exactly what Marvel has in mind.

Fans of the Disney Plus series Loki have speculated that the program is paving the way for a significant shift in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the future.

Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki, the Asgardian god of mischief, in Loki, which takes place after the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Because the MCU’s “main” version of Loki was slain in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, the figure Hiddleston plays in Loki is a variation who runs afoul of the TVA, the interdimensional temporal police.

Spoilers for Loki on Disney Plus follow…

Loki’s first four episodes had Loki encountering an alternative version of himself known as Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), who is being pursued by the TVA.

Loki also encounters a trio of other Loki variations, portrayed by Richard E Grant, Jack Veal, and Deobia Oparei, at the conclusion of episode four.

Many fans believe that Hiddleston’s Loki will be supplanted as the MCU’s main incarnation of the character in the future, with Sylvie or Jack Veal’s “Young Loki” taking over.

We Got This Covered has learned from our sources – the same ones who said Daniel Radcliffe is being considered for Moon Knight and the Inhumans will appear in Ms. Marvel, both of which have since been confirmed – that the studio is planning to introduce Kid Loki as one of his shape-shifted forms in the upcoming Loki TV series, with him reappearing in Thor: Love and Thunder.

However, in the Thor film, the trickster will get trapped in that form and will continue to appear in future movies as Kid Loki.

“I’m genuinely scared now since Marvel changed Steve as Captain America with Falcon, Natasha as Black Widow with Yelena, and they might replace Tom! Sylvie’s Loki!” On Twitter, one fan wrote.
