Dead By Daylight Extends Anniversary Event, Gifts and Much more

Dead By Daylight Updates: Dead by Daylight’s Anniversary event has been extended to give players more time to grind and get the rewards that were being rewarded. This simply means more opportunities for players to get the Anniversary Crowns, Unique cosmetics, and Blood points.

This is the fifth anniversary of the game. The event now ends on July 22 which means it has been extended for a week. The developer announced the extension on Twitter on Friday. They revealed that this decision was made on popular demand.

Many fans have asked for this and they seem to have been heard. You now get a whole extra week to claim the rewards that you have been wanting to get.

While performance issues weren’t directly listed as the reason for the extension, those who’ve been playing throughout the event will likely recall that there have indeed been problems affecting the game in various ways.

Many people had lost some time due to these issues and the extension only makes up for the lost time. This event is one of the two big events that Behaviour has planned for the rest of the year. The developers have already said that they are prioritizing two events this year, the Anniversary event and the Halloween event.

“Beyond these two, others will be treated more as ‘Celebrations,’” Behaviour Interactive said in reference to the Halloween and Anniversary Events. “We will still be celebrating Winter, Lunar New Year, etc. but are taking new approaches to them to better define and focus our efforts on those larger ones.

The PS5’s have also been restocked which is great news for fans. Dead by Daylight has been one of the most popular games over the past few years and the developers hope that it might still be the best in just over the next few years.

If you have to slack this season of the game, then this is your chance to claim the rewards before they are gone forever. Let us know what you think about this extension.
