The Blacklist Season 9 Updates: Jon Bokenkamp’s s The Blacklist is returning with its Season 9. NBC’s original series is mostly coming into the crime thriller genre so it contains a lot of jumpscares and breathes holding moments that viewers have enjoyed from the last 8 seasons.
We might get to see 2-year time jump in the upcoming season which will unfold some of the answers to us. It will be released on NBC on 21st October 2021 at 8 pm. It is available on Netflix for us who want to binge-watch the previous seasons for a story recap.
In the previous seasons, we saw I bet even the creators don’t know the secret. They just keep the show going until they come up with a good idea. This show is glorious. I loved red and Elizabeth’s emotional father-daughter moments.
They were giving and receiving. Red was teaching him cunningness and Liz was re-stimulating his heart and emotions. Now she’s just an arrogant prick and they made red a sick old man. The writers have woven so many storylines they’ve gotten ahead of themselves.
Their big board must be humongous!! Some things have just disappeared with no explanation. The clues they give don’t have enough traction and you’re expected to remember everything. They make Liz so wishy-washy it gets a little silly.
Overall, I like the show. Spader alone keeps it going most of the time. I’d like it more if they would start giving some info to at least help us understand who Red might be and what is his real motivation.
The show has an amazing cast Megan Boone, James Spader, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lenix, Ryan Eggold, Amir Arison, and many more characters. But there is sad news that in this show we won’t be able to see Megan Boone’s Elizabeth Keen because she was shot dead in the previous season by one of the Henchmen of Neville.
Elizabeth is supposed to be so smart but she only succeeds because everyone else suddenly becomes incompetent. Remington has become the sympathetic character, he’s the only character that doesn’t lack self-awareness and the only reason to watch the show.
New-season will be great and will be more thrilling to watch and we will keep you updated on the upcoming season of this show.
